Kabaddi is a sport of South Asian. In Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, the word "Kai" means hand and the word "Pidi" means catch, as we put it  together the words means "holding hands". It is one of the most popular sports in India, played mainly among people in villages.

Kabbadi Is the National sport of Bangladesh and Nepal. It is also the state game of the Indian states. Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Punjab’s national game is also Kabaddi. India is the Most Successful Team on the World level. India has won all five Kabaddi world cups played till now. India is World Champion Till Date. No other team can beat India in World Cups of Kabaddi.

Pro kabaddi league was introduced in 2014 in India based on Indian premier league. First Edition of This Kabaddi League was played in 2014 With 8 Franchises of different state. Owner of PKL Is Mashal Sports & Director is Charu Sharma. Star Sports Is the main Broadcast Partner of PKL. Jaipur Pink Panthers is the Defending Champion Of 2014. Jaipur Beat Mumbai In Final Last Year.

Introduction of Pro Kabaddi League


There are two teams to play this game at same time. Each team have their seven player on court and five players on bench for substitute. First on the toss, one captain who won the toss has to decide that is he choose the court or go for the raid. Mainly In each Team there are 3 Raider and 4 Defender. There are 3  main Umpire or Referee and one TV Umpire as well for give decision of point. In that game it divide in two part first 20 min of game then interval of 5 min and then last 20 min. It seems like 20-5-20.

Rules Of Pro Kabaddi League


A raider shall continue to chant “KABADDI” as the approved cant. Only after that he needs to cross the fog line which confirms that this raid is valid.

Raider only Get 30 second for a one raid. He must complete His raid into that 30 second.

One Team cannot make continuously Three Raid Empty, They Must Need to collect One Touch Point or Bonus Point in their three raids.

 If three or less Defender Caught Raider Then They Get 2 points Because of “Super Tackle”.

If one team get all players out then opponent team get 2 point extra of “All Out”.

Both teams can take a Time out of 90 Seconds at any time of play.

Not more than one raider can enter in opponents Court at a one time.

After a raider has reached into his court, the opponent’s teams shall send their raider within decided time(5 seconds).

If a raider, while in the opponent’s court loses his breath calling Kabaddi.... Kabaddi, he shall be declared out and the opponent team will be awarded one point.

One side can substitute only 5 times in a match.

 Each team can take only One Referral, but if referral is right then they can take one more time as well.

Raider can go into Lobby When only he touch the opponent, else he will get out and point gives to opponent team.

When Raider want a Bonus point, then he must cross the Bonus line by one foot and second foot must be in air, then and then only he get Bonus point.

 Player or players who are out shall be revived in the same order as they were out.

The team, which scores the highest number of points at the end of the match, shall be declared the winner.
